You know what I like, at least in the few early episodes I’ve seen of Sailor Moon?

Usagi has no fucking idea what she’s doing.

The first few fights she runs away and cries at Luna to help her.

I LOVE that.

Evangellion did this as well. Shinji is put in a Mech that he has no idea how to operate, and is completely fucking wrecked by the angel. If it wasn’t for the Mech being alive on some level he would of died.

I mean, I’ve seen Power Rangers, I’ve seen Gundam, I like when a show takes the tired cliché of a kid getting untold power and turning it completely on it’s head by saying, they’re just a kid, they have no training, and this is a terrible idea.
