Just once, I’d like to think some of the people who’s stuff I follow on the internet would be able to rise above talking about PeTA’s latest publicity stunt.

Especially when it relates to videogames.

PeTA are a company of twisted hateful fucks, yes. But by talking about their latest thing you’re giving them free publicity. Maybe you could just ignore it?

PeTA aren’t going to go away but the only reason they’re targeting video games are because “gamers” are knee-jerk overgrown children who will send death threats to a writer for DARING to suggest the option to enjoy the story over the gameplay should be available to those who want it.

This is why I don’t call myself a “gamer”. This is why we can’t have nice things.
