Day 2 - Your Favourite Protagonist

Probably Heather Mason.

I do like that she seems to be aware more than any other character that she’s in a bizarre horror game.

Like she’s clearly remembering her last two lives over the course of the game, and she seems to be dealing with it by pointing out how absurd this is, I mean her only real catalyst is [SPOILER] and that’s it. She’s not intrigued by her past since she’s piecing together most of it anyway, and to think that she’s remembering 2 childhoods on top of the one she’s had since 1983 that she’s not falling apart is kind of a testament to her badassery.

And that’s probably the nail on the head there, Heather is the ONLY BADASS IN THE ENTIRE SERIES. I can’t speak to Downpour, but Harry is just a writer looking for his daughter, James is a sexually frustrated guy with guilt to spare, Henry just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, Travis has no reason to be in Silent Hill at all, and Alex is a crazy person who think’s he was a soldier (as far as I’m concerned any way it just makes more sense).
