To Dream in the City of Sorrows

You have to pay for autographs at Heroes and Legends.

So it looks like I’m not getting anything signed.

No one, should charge for fucking autographs. It’s bullshit.

I can understand, if you’re selling something in a limited run, that’s pre-signed, charging a little extra for it.

But of someone walks up to you, the LEAST you can do, is sign something for them. I met Claudio Sanchez, 3/4 of Tirivium, Shinya from Dir en grey, and David Lloyd, and not only did they just sign something for me, for nothing, David Lloyd did a sketch of V in my copy of V for Vendetta, and sat there and chatted with me while he was doing it. For free.

He was well within his rights to charge me for the sketch, but anyone who charges you, to have them write their fucking name down is an ASSHOLE.

It’s ruined my mood about the con.

EDIT: I should also add, I don’t have a problem if they charge for photos. Because technically you’re paying for copyright. It’s a big grey murky area in regards to performers and stuff but in essence this is the same reason you’re not really allowed to take photos of exhibits in galleries.
