Next thing you know,shazzam! Spasm-guy has suddenly given birth to a hairless kitten with teeth! Catastrophe! Now no-one is paying me any attention at all, even though the hairless kitten clearly hasno idea how to behave in can-opener company. Even when it scuttles off, the can-openers are too preoccupied with it to notice me. Honestly, if I’d known it would get that sort of reaction, I too would have burst out of someone’s chest like a cheap birthday cake stripper.

I just got back from watching Underworld Awakening with Grace
Which should really be called Underworld: 2 hours of Kate Beckinsale being a bad-ass because that’s what it is.
It was really good.
Also we had a nice meal and she won me a stuffed frog.

Like it’s such a case of lightning in a bottle, it’s so vivid, the music is so experamental, Rael is a dissillusioned Punk 3 years before punk rock exploded, it’s full of wonderful imagery, the whole album is a piece of art, sleave and everything, all the pictures on the cover and in the gatefold are all connected, it has a poem of the story that compliments the lyrics without ever using it.
It’s just the best album guys.

People like this song. Like, really genuinely like this song. They think it’s a wonderful nice little love song. It’s not.
It’s one of the most hateful songs I’ve ever heard.
People hear the lyrics of the song and they’re like ‘it’s this song about how wonderful women are because of everything they are and do’
and it’s so not. It’s a sarcastic, vile, hateful song that honestly can’t come from any place of joy or appreciation. It’s just so acerbic and horrid.
It was on in a shop today and I got kinda pissed off at it. hence the rant.
